The Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista donated $5720 to the Sierra Vista Library and... more

The Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista was chartered on March 29, 1957.  We were the first Kiwanis club in Sierra Vista.  Our club Foundation has helped the city of Sierra Vista with building the Sierra Vista Kiwanis Skate and Bike Court and we have donated over $30, 000 for playground equipment.  Our current project is to help fund the new teen center.  We recently purchased over $5400 worth of arcade games for the center.

Our club sponsors several student leadership programs in Sierra Vista:  Buena High School Key Club, CAS Key Club, CAS Builders Club, and Huachuca Mountain K-Kids.   These student leadership programs help over 200
students learn about service and leadership.

Our service projects include highway clean up, graffiti abatement, Canned food drive for local food banks, water safety classes, Bring Up Grades Program, Don't Meth With Us Program, and our Young Children Priority One project- reading to Preschool students and giving them books to promote literacy.
For more information about the Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista or The Kiwanis Club of Sierra Vista Community Service Foundation contact webmaster, Marge Carrithers at or at P.O. Box 2377, Sierra Vista, AZ 85636.
